What we host

Threads Downloader does not store or host media files. When someone uses the tool, media is fetched from Threads' own servers at that moment and passed directly to the user's device. If content is removed from Threads, it can no longer be downloaded through Threads Downloader. The fastest way to remove infringing content is to report it to Threads directly.

Submitting a takedown notice

If you believe Threads Downloader is being used to infringe your copyright, send a written notice through [email protected] that includes:

• your full name and contact details, including an email address;
• a description of the copyrighted work you believe is being infringed;
• the specific Threads post URL(s) involved;
• a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law;
• a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner's behalf;
• your physical or electronic signature.

How we respond

When we receive a complete notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, block the reported post URLs from being processed by the tool. We may contact you if we need more information.

Counter-notice

If you believe a URL was blocked by mistake, you may send a counter-notice with your contact details, the blocked URL, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the block was a mistake.

Misuse of the process

Knowingly submitting a false notice may carry legal liability. Please make sure a notice is accurate before sending it.
